Estimados colegas, miembros de LACNIC y de la comunidad de Internet
Latinoamericana y Caribeña:

LACNIC tiene el placer de anunciar e invitarlos a participar de su
Reunión anual LACNIC XIII, que se realizará en el World Trade Center
Curaçao, de la ciudad de Willemstad, Curaçao, Antillas Neerlandesas,
entre el 17 y 21 de mayo de 2010. El evento se realizará conjuntamente
con la reunión anual de LACTLD, la asociación de administradores de
ccTLDs de América Latina y el Caribe. El evento es hospedado por la
Oficina de Telecomunicaciones y Correo de Curazao (BT&P) y el Caribbean
Internet Exchange (CAR-IX).

Como es habitual, la reunión anual de LACNIC será el punto de encuentro
de la comunidad de Internet regional. Además de participar de talleres
de capacitación técnica, tendrá la oportunidad de conocer e intercambiar
ideas y experiencias con otros colegas de la industria de las
telecomunicaciones, y participar en diversas actividades y foros
enfocados al desarrollo y estabilidad de Internet en la región de
América Latina y el Caribe.

¿Quiénes participan del evento de LACNIC?

El público es muy amplio e incluye: proveedores de servicios de
Internet, reguladores, redes académicas, operadores de ccTLD, operadores
de NAP, representantes de gobiernos de la región, integrantes de la
sociedad civil y todas aquellas personas interesadas en discutir y tener
incidencia en la elaboración de los criterios para la distribución de
recursos de numeración de Internet de la región. ¡Reserve ya estas
fechas en su calendario!

Dear colleagues, members of LACNIC and the Internet community of Latin
America and the Caribbean:

LACNIC has the pleasure of announcing and inviting you to participate in
its Annual Meeting, LACNIC XIII, that will be held at the World Trade
Center Curaçao in the city of Willemstad, Curaçao, Netherlands Antilles,
from May 17 - 21, 2010.  The event will be held jointly with the annual
meeting of LACTLD, the association of Latin American and Caribbean ccTLD
administrators. The event is hosted by the Bureau of Telecommunication
and Post (BT&P) and the Caribbean Internet Exchange (CAR-IX).

As usual, the LACNIC's annual meeting will be a meeting point for the
regional Internet community. In addition to attending technical
workshops, you will have the chance to meet and exchange experiences and
ideas with other colleagues working in the telecommunications industry
and to take part in different activities and forums focusing on Internet
development and stability in the region of Latin America and the Caribbean.

Who will participate in the LACNIC event?

The audience is very broad and includes: Internet service providers,
regulators, academic networks, ccTLD operators, NAP operators,
representatives of the governments of our region, members of civil
society, and all those interested in debating and participating in the
preparation of criteria for Internet numbering resource distribution in
the region. Set aside these dates on your calendar!
