  LACNIC será co-organizador del primer evento del IETF en la región

Carlos Martínez, Gerente de Tecnología de LACNIC, anunció el pasado 3 de 
noviembre en el marco del IETF 94 la participación de LACNIC como 
co-organizador del IEFT 95.

El Grupo de Trabajo en Ingeniería de Internet, IETF por sus siglas en 
inglés, es la reunión de profesionales de las diferentes áreas que 
definen los protocolos de Internet que darán forma a la red en los 
próximos años.

El primer encuentro del IETF en la región de Latinoamérica y Caribe 
tendrá lugar del 3-8 de abril del 2016 en el Hotel Hilton Buenos Aires. 
Asimismo, cabe destacar que IETF 95 también celebrará el 30º aniversario 
del desarrollo de estándares IETF.

Carlos Martínez, Gerente de Tecnologia de LACNIC, anunciou no dia 3 de 
novembro passado no marco do IETF 94 a participação de LACNIC como 
co-organizador do IEFT 95.

O Grupo de Trabalho de Engenharia da Internet, IETF por sua sigla em 
inglês, reúne profissionais das diferentes áreas  que definem os 
protocolos de Internet que darão forma à rede nos próximos anos.

O primeiro encontro do IETF na região da América Latina e o Caribe vai 
ser realizado de 3 a 8 de abril de 2016 no Hotel Hilton Buenos Aires. 
Assim mesmo, vale destacar que o IETF 95 também vai comemorar o 30º 
aniversário do desenvolvimento de padrões IETF.

  LACNIC to Co-Organize the First IETF Event to be Held in the LAC Region

This past November 3rd and within the framework of IETF 94, Carlos 
Martinez, Chief Technology Officer at LACNIC, announced LACNIC's 
participation as co-organizer of the IETF 95 meeting.

The Internet Engineering Task Force brings together professionals 
representing the various fields which define the protocols that will 
shape the Internet in the coming years.

The first IETF meeting to be held in Latin America and the Caribbean 
will take place on 3-8 April, 2016 at the Hotel Hilton Buenos Aires. 
It's worth noting that IETF 95 will mark the 30th anniversary of IETF 
standards development.
