El Centro de Capacitaciones de LACNIC anuncia la apertura de las 
inscripciones para su primera edición del curso TestingV6 del año 2016 
en el Campus LACNIC (http://campus.lacnic.net), una propuesta de 
E-Learning del Registro Regional de Internet para América Latina y el 
Caribe.

El curso se desarrollará en modalidad virtual a través de módulos que 
los participantes deberán completar en un periodo de 8 semanas.

El curso durará desde el 21 de junio hasta el 16 de agosto.

El curso "TestingV6 - 1era. edición del año 2016" es para aquellos 
interesados que tengan la necesidad de aprender a testear productos y 
componentes de software para asegurar su buen funcionamiento tanto en 
IPv4, IPv6 como en entornos doble pila.

Se basa en la metodología Certiv6, una herramienta diseñada por LACNIC y 
el Centro de Ensayos de Software de Uruguay que permite comprobar la 
compatibilidad de sistemas operando sobre IPv6 y a detectar problemas 
encubiertos o riesgos futuros de la convivencia entre los dos protocolos.

Esta propuesta tendrá una carga total de 120 horas distribuidas durante 
ocho semanas de clases, que terminarán con una evaluación final.

O curso "TestingV6 - primeira edição de 2016" é para os interessados que 
têm a necessidade de aprender a testar produtos e componentes de 
software para garantir o funcionamento adequado tanto em IPv4,  e IPv6 
quanto em ambientes dupla-pilha.

Está baseado na metodologia Certiv6, uma ferramenta desenhada por LACNIC 
e o Centro de Ensaios de Software do Uruguai que permite comprovar a 
compatibilidade de sistemas operando sobre o IPv6 e a detectar problemas 
encobertos ou riscos futuros do convívio dos dois protocolos.

Esta proposta vai ter uma duração total de 120 horas distribuídas em 
oito semanas de aulas, e com uma avaliação final.

  Registration for the Testing V6 Course is now open

The LACNIC Training Center announces that registration for the first 
edition of the TestingV6 course to be held in 2016 is now open. This 
course is an e-learning initiative of the Regional Internet Registry for 
Latin America and the Caribbean that will be available through the 
LACNIC Campus (http://campus.lacnic.net <http://campus.lacnic.net/>).

The course will include four modules that participants may complete in 
their own time and at their own pace and will last from 21 June to 16 
August.

The "TestingV6 – 1^st 2016 Edition" course has been designed for anyone 
interested in learning how to test software products and components to 
check their proper operation over IPv4 and IPv6, as well as in 
dual-stack environments.

It is based on the Certiv6 methodology, a tool designed by LACNIC and 
CES (the Uruguayan Software Testing Center) that allows checking the 
compatibility of systems operating on IPv6 and detecting hidden issues 
and future risks posed by the coexistence of the two protocols.

The course will have a total workload of 120 hours, including eight 
weeks of classes and a final examination.

LACNIC members will receive a 20% discount on the registration fee (USD
