*Cambio de política de RIPE sobre su registro de rutas***

LACNIC pone en conocimiento de su comunidad técnica que RIPE ha decidido 
cambiar su política sobre autenticación del registro de rutas (IRR). 
Esta medida puede llegar a afectar a organizaciones instaladas en la 
región de América Latina y el Caribe usuarias de ese servicio del RIR de 
Europa y Medio Oriente.

Según se ha comunicado, la comunidad de RIPE ha decidido eliminar la 
posibilidad de crear objetos no autenticados de fuera de su región. Los 
objetos que ya están creados dejarán de tener fuente (/source:)/ RIPE, y 
tendrán como fuente “RIPE non auth” (RIPE-NONAUTH).

Esta nueva política puede llegar a afectar a miembros de la región de 
LACNIC que tengan objetos creados en la base de datos de ruteo de RIPE 
(IRR).

LACNIC informa sua comunidade técnica que RIPE decidiu alterar sua 
política sobre autenticação do registro de rotas (IRR). Essa medida pode 
afetar organizações instaladas na região da América Latina e o Caribe 
usuárias desse serviço do RIR da Europa e do Oriente Médio.

Conforme comunicado, a comunidade de RIPE decidiu eliminar a 
possibilidade de criar objetos não autenticados de fora de sua região. 
Os objetos já criados não terão mais a fonte (/source:)/ RIPE, mas sim a 
fonte “RIPE non auth” (RIPE-NONAUTH).

Essa nova política pode afetar membros da região de LACNIC que tenham 
objetos criados no banco de dados de roteamento de RIPE (IRR).

the RIPE Database***

LACNIC informs the technical community that RIPE has decided to modify 
its Internet Routing Registry (IRR) policy, and that this measure may 
affect organizations based in Latin America and the Caribbean which use 
this service provided by the RIR for Europe and the Middle East.

As reported, the RIPE community has decided that its Routing Registry 
will no longer support the creation of non-authenticated out-of-region 
objects. Existing out-of-region objects will have their “source:” 
attribute changed to “RIPE-NONAUTH”.

This new policy may affect LACNIC region members who have created 
objects in the RIPE Internet Routing Registry (IRR).
