*LACNIC 32 LACNOG 2019: resumen de actividades*

Más de 500 personas asistieron al evento LACNIC 32 LACNOG 2019, 
realizado en la ciudad de Panamá del 7 al 11 de octubre, en las 
instalaciones del Hotel Hard Rock.

Como previa al evento, el domingo 6 de mayo dio inicio el 2do Hackathon 
de LACNIC y en el que  se trabajósobre cuatro proyectos de LACNIC:el API 
de MiLACNIC, el UpDown del Sistema de Certificación de Recursos (RPKI), 
el Internet Routing Registry (IRR) de LACNIC y el sistema de eventos.

La ceremonia de apertura

contó con la presencia de Luis Oliva de la AIG, Ricardo Patara de 
LACNOG, y Wardner Maia, presidente del directorio de LACNIC. En su 
discurso Maia destacó que si bien el 94% de los más de 9600 asociados de 
LACNIC cuentan con direcciones IPv6, se debe continuar trabajando para 
conectar al 33% de los ciudadanos de la región que todavía no tienen 
acceso al mundo digital.

Mais de 500 pessoas participaram do evento LACNIC 32 LACNOG 2019, 
realizado na Cidade do Panamá de 7 a 11 de outubro, nas instalações do 
Hotel Hard Rock.

*LACNIC 32 LACNOG 2019: Activity Recap***

More than 500 participants attended the LACNIC 32 LACNOG 2019 event held 
from 7 to 11 October at the Hard Rock Hotel in Panama City.

The Second LACNIC Hackathon took place in the runup to the event. There, 
participants worked on four different LACNIC projects: the MiLACNIC API, 
the UpDown for the Resource Certification System (RPKI), LACNIC's 
Internet Routing Registry (IRR) and the organization’s events system.

The event's opening ceremony

Luis Oliva of AIG, Ricardo Patara of LACNOG, and Wardner Maia, Chairman 
of the LACNIC Board. In his speech, Maia stressed that, even though 94% 
of LACNIC's more than 9,600 members have received IPv6 addresses, work 
must continue to connect the 33% of the regional population who have yet 
to access the digital world.
