LACNIC VII se llevó a cabo del 26 al 28 de octubre de 2004 en el Hotel
Barceló San José Palacio de San José de Costa Rica y fue hospedado por el
ITS Learning Center. <br>

Asistieron al evento un total de 114 personas de 12 economías diferentes
de la región de LACNIC. Entre los asistentes, se contó con la
participación de representantes del gobierno de Costa Rica,
conferencistas latinoamericanos y europeos, así como de representantes de
los otros Registros Regionales de Internet. <br>

Principales Actividades<br>

Se desarrollaron tres tutoriales, el segundo Foro Latinoamericano de IPv6
(Flip-6), la reunión de la IPv6 Task Force de América Latina y el Caribe,
el Foro Público de Políticas y una Mesa Redonda sobre Spam en la que
participaron representantes de ISPs de la región, abogados y técnicos
especialistas en el tema. <br>

 From October 26 to October 28, 2004, LACNIC VII was held at the Hotel Barceló San José Palacio, San Jose, Costa Rica. The event was hosted by the ITS Learning Center. <br>

The event was attended by a total of 114 persons, from 12 different economies from the region covered by LACNIC. Among the participants were representatives of the government of Costa Rica, European speakers, as well as representatives from the other Regional Internet Registries.<br>

Main Activities <br>

Within the framework of LACNIC VII, the following events took place: three tutorials, the second Latin American IPv6 Forum (Flip-6), a meeting of the IPv6 Task Force for Latin America and the Caribbean, the Public Policy Forum and a Round Table on Spam with the participation of representatives from the region's ISPs, lawyers and technicians specializing in this area.<br>
