<b> LACNIS is looking for a Liaison Officer for Central America</b><br>
<br>
Goal:<br>
To represent LACNIC, its mission and vision before the Central
American community, contributing to increase the organization's
impact and legitimacy in that region and also in the Caribbean.<br>
<br>
Responsibilities:<br>
- To support the preparation of a Strategic Action Plan for the
region in coordination with the Communications and External
Relations Manager and the Executive Director.<br>
- To manage relationships with government representatives,
regulators, member organizations, international organizations,
companies and other regional stakeholders.<br>
- To identify new projects, opportunities and aspects of the work
LACNIC carries out in the region subject to improvement.<br>
- To represent LACNIC at regional events, including technical
presentations and training activities.<br>
- To serve, among others, the technical, educational or promotional
needs of member organizations.<br>
- To contribute to meeting the goals of LACNIC's Communications and
External Relations Department.<br>

Qualifications:<br>
University degree in Social Sciences, Political Sciences,
International Relations, Business Administration, Information
Technology or other disciplines.<br>
Experience<br>
At least five years of experience in activities relating to public
policy on Information and Communication Technologies at government,
university, regulator and/or international organization level.<br>
<br>
Languages:<br>
Fluency in Spanish, both oral and written (required).<br>
Fluency in English, both oral and written (required).<br>
Fluency in other languages such as French and Portuguese is a plus.<br>
Mandatory requirements<br>
<br>
Permanent residence in any of the region's countries.<br>
Availability to travel within the region and abroad up to 100 (one
hundred) days per year.<br>

Subject to professional training and experience, we offer a

The position reports to the Communications and External Relations
Manager.<br>
