<p> El Directorio de LACNIC designó hoy a su gerente de
Comunicaciones, Ernesto Majó, como CEO interno de la
organización tras la salida de su actual director ejecutivo,
Raúl Echeberría.</p>
<p> Desde su creación en 2002 y bajo el liderazgo de Echeberría,
LACNIC ha logrado un crecimiento institucional muy importante y
ha desarrollado su capacidad de influencia aportando una voz de
América Latina y Caribe en el concierto de la Sociedad de la
Información.</p>

<p> A Diretoria de LACNIC designou hoje a seu gerente de
Comunicações, Ernesto Majó, como CEO interino da organização
após a saída do seu atual diretor executivo, Raúl Echeberría.</p>
<p> Desde sua criação em 2002 e sob a liderança de Echeberría,
LACNIC conseguiu um crescimento institucional muito importante e
desenvolveu sua capacidade de influência contribuindo com uma
voz da América Latina e o Caribe no cenário da Sociedade da
Informação.</p>

following the resignation of the organization's founder,

<p> <strong>Montevideo, 30 June 2014.</strong></p>
<p> Today, LACNIC's Board of Directors appointed the
organization's Communications Manager, Ernesto Majó, to serve as
Interim CEO following the resignation of its current Executive
Director, Raúl Echeberría.</p>
<p> Since its creation in 2002 and under Echeberría's leadership,
LACNIC has grown significantly as an institution and has
developed its ability to affect and bring a Latin American and
Caribbean voice to the Information Society.<br>
