<p> El pasado 10 de noviembre Seed Alliance anunció que la Internet
Society se ha sumado a su iniciativa para otorgar subvenciones y
premios a los equipos a cargo de proyectos para el desarrollo de
soluciones innovadoras de Internet que hagan frente a desafíos
sociales y económicos. Seed Alliance es una iniciativa de
colaboración establecida entre tres Registros Regionales de
Internet (APNIC, AFRINIC y LACNIC) y sus respectivos programas en
apoyo de proyectos de Internet en las regiones de Asia Pacífico,
África, y América Latina y el Caribe.</p>
<p> La Internet Society apoyará a Seed Alliance por un período de
dos años a partir de diciembre de 2015. La financiación aportada
por la Internet Society permitirá que los programas otorguen hasta
dos subvenciones en cada región a proyectos sobre seguridad en
Internet, incluyendo la seguridad colaborativa y el desarrollo de
estándares abiertos, y el desarrollo de Internet a través de las
comunidades. El apoyo de la Internet Society se canalizará a
través de su programa <a

Internet Society tem-se juntado a sua iniciativa de outorgar
subsídios e prêmios para as equipes encarregadas de projetos para
o desenvolvimento de soluções inovadoras da Internet que respondam
aos desafios sociais e econômicos. A Seed Alliance é uma
iniciativa de colaboração estabelecida entre três Registros
Regionais da Internet (APNIC, AFRINIC e LACNIC) e seus respectivos
programas que apoiam projetos da Internet nas regiões da Ásia
Pacífico, África e América Latina e o Caribe.</p>
<p> A Internet Society vai apoiar à Seed Alliance por um período de
dois anos a partir de dezembro de 2015. O financiamento concedido
pela Internet Society vai permitir que os programas outorguem até
dois subsídios em cada região para projetos sobre segurança na
Internet, incluindo a segurança colaborativa e o desenvolvimento
de padrões abertos, e o desenvolvimento da Internet através das

<h1><small><small>Internet Society joins the Seed Alliance,
supporting innovative Internet development projects</small></small></h1>

<p> The Seed Alliance announced on November 10th that the Internet
Society has joined its initiative to distribute grants and awards
to project teams developing innovative Internet solutions that
address social and economic challenges. The Seed Alliance is a
collaborative partnership established between three Regional
Internet Registries (APNIC, AFRINIC, and LACNIC) and their
respective programs that support Internet projects in Asia
Pacific, Africa, and Latin America and the Caribbean.</p>
<p> The Internet Society will support the Seed Alliance for a period
of two years beginning in December 2015. Funding from the Internet
Society will allow the programs to give up to two grants per
region for projects on Internet security, including collaborative
security and development of open standards; and Internet
development through communities. The support from the Internet
Society will be channeled through its program, <a
href="http://www.internetsociety.org/what-we-do/grants-awards/beyond-net-funding-programme"
target="_blank">‘Beyond the Net'.</a><br>
