ganadores de su
convocatoria 2018. Las iniciativas seleccionadas recibirán
apoyos económicos
por un total de US$ 95.000 en premios, subvenciones y

Pese al crecimiento en la penetración de Internet en América
Latina y el
Caribe, persisten desigualdades de acceso entre hombres y
mujeres, entre la
población rural y urbana y por nivel de ingreso. Con estos
desafíos en mente,
la convocatoria de 2018 se centró en iniciativas para reducir
la brecha digital
y la brecha de género en tecnología en América Latina y
Caribe. Se
trabajó en torno a dos temáticas específicas: Redes
Comunitarias y equidad de
