[Bcop] Meeting in Santiago / Reunião em Santiago

Hi everyone.

It has been almost six months since our last meeting during LACNOG in
Cancun and we would like to give you an update on what is coming up
during our meeting in Santiago next week. We have finally drafted the
first version of the Development Process (DP) for BCOPs in the LAC
region and are bringing that document for discussion. The current
version is in Portuguese and unfortunately we will not have all
translations ready by next week, but we will make it work. The DP
document is an important step towards BCOP development in our region
and we need your help to improve it!

We have a 10-minute presentation on Thursday morning, but that will be
mostly for status updates and introduction for newcomers. We will try
to arrange a BoF without disturbing the current LACNOG agenda (lunch
maybe?). We will let you know through the meeting mailing lists.

I will arrive in Santiago on Wednesday morning and will be there until
the end of the meeting. Unfortunately our co-chair Pedro Torres will
not be able to join us this time. Also, Jan Zorz from ISOC will join
us as well! If you have questions regarding BCOPs before I get there
please feel free to go to him for help during the breaks. He also
knows a thing or two about IPv6 :-)

Just a reminder that our mailing list is bcop at lacnog.org and it is
open for all members.

Olá pessoal.

Já fazem quase seis meses desde nossa última reunião no LACNOG de
Cancun e nós queremos atualizá-los com o que está por vir na próxima
reunião em Santiago na semana que vem. Nós finalmente terminamos o
rascunho da primeira versão do Processo de Desenvolvimento (PD) para
BCOPs na região LAC e estamos trazendo esse documento para discussão.
A versão atual está em português e infelizmente nós não conseguiremos
traduzi-la a tempo até a reunião, mas nós sempre conseguimos nos
entender. O documento de PD é um passo muito importante para o avanço
das BCOPs na nossa região e nós precisamos da sua ajuda para
melhorá-lo!

Nós temos uma apresentação de 10 minutos na quinta-feira pela manhã,
mas essa será apenas para atualização do status do grupo e introdução
para novos membros. Nós vamos tentar agendar uma reunião de BoF sem
perturbar a agenda atual do LACNOG (um almoço, talvez?). Nós vamos
mantê-los informados pelas listas de discussão do evento.

Eu chego em Santiago na quarta-feira pela manhã e fico lá até o final
da reunião. Infelizmente o Pedro Torres, nosso co-chair, não vai poder
estar lá dessa vez. O Jan Zorz da ISOC vai participar conosco dessa
vez! Se vocês possuem alguma dúvida sobre BCOPs antes da minha
chegada, por favor sintam-se livres para procurá-lo nos intervalos.
Ele também sabe um pouco sobre IPv6 :-)

Só para lembrar que a nossa lista de discussão é a bcop at lacnog.org e
ela é aberta para todos membros.
