<p>Los contacto para invitarlos al webinar de LACNIC: <b>Participación
de América Latina en IETF</b>.</p>
<p>De cara a la próxima reunión del IETF de julio, este webinar
busca (a) problematizar el por qué de la baja participación
latinoamericana en este espacio, particularmente de mujeres, y (b)
discutir por qué es importante participar y cómo hacerlo. Las
ponentes serán Juliana Guerra y Joey Salazar, dos colegas de la
región que participan activamente de distintos grupos técnicos y
de investigación en IETF.</p>
<p><b>El webinar tendrá lugar el miércoles 15 de julio a las 14:00
hs (UTC-3, horario de Uruguay) y contará con interpretación

<p>Dear all,</p>
<p>I am reaching out to invite you to the LACNIC webinar:<b> Latin
American Participation at IETF.</b></p>
<p>Ahead of the next IETF meeting this July, this webinar seeks to
(a) problematize why we see low participation from our region at
IETF, particularly women; and (b) discuss why it is important to
participate in the IETF and how to do so. The webinar speakers
will be Juliana Guerra and Joey Salazar, two colleagues from the
region who actively participate in IETF's working and research
groups.</p>
