Seed Alliance anunciou hoje uma doação de AUD 1.5 milhões da
Agência Sueca de Cooperação <br>
para o Desenvolvimento Internacional (Sida) destinada a apoiar
projetos de inovação <br>
na Internet em economias em desenvolvimento.<br>
<br>
A doação será paga em um prazo de três anos e irá ampliar os
programas existentes de prêmios e <br>
pequenas subvenções implementados pelos membros da aliança -
FIRE administrado pelo AFRINIC, <br>
FRIDA administrado pelo LACNIC e ISIF Asia administrado pelo
APNIC. <br>
A expansão do programa terá foco na promoção do acesso,
abertura, <br>
inclusão e direitos na Internet, bem como de esforços
colaborativos desenhados para <br>
promover a criação de capacidades e a construção de vínculos
entre os sócios.<br>

Promote Internet Innovation in Developing Economies<br>
Sweden supports Seed Alliance grants and awards initiatives in
Africa, Asia Pacific, Latin America, and the Caribbean<br>
<br>
The Seed Alliance today announced a grant of AUD 1.5 million
from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency
(Sida) <br>
to support Internet innovation projects in developing economies.<br>
<br>
The grant, over three years, allows the expansion of current
awards and small grants programs implemented by alliance
members, <br>
FIRE managed by AFRINIC, FRIDA managed by Lacnic and ISIF Asia
managed by APNIC. <br>
The program extension will focus on promoting Internet access,
openness, inclusion and rights, i<br>
in addition to collaborative efforts designed to promote
capacity building and networking among the partners.<br>
