<h1><small><small>Lima recibirá en mayo a la comunidad de LACNIC</small></small></h1>

<p> El Registro de Direcciones de Internet de América Latina y el
Caribe (LACNIC) en conjunto con la Red Científica Peruana
(administradora del .pe) anuncia la organización en la ciudad de
Lima del próximo evento regional LACNIC 23. La reunión, que
nucleará a la comunidad de Internet de América Latina y el Caribe,
se llevará a cabo del <b>18 al 22 de mayo </b>en el Westin Lima
Hotel & Convention Center de Perú.</p>
<p> LACNIC 23 es un espacio de networking e intercambio de
experiencias y análisis de aspectos clave para conocer las últimas
novedades sobre Internet en la región y a nivel global.</p>
<p> En el marco de esta actividad, se destacan como novedades el
encuentro de Mujeres y TICs, el panel de fabricantes de equipos,
ponencias de casos reales de implementación de IPv6 y el foro
sobre la transición de la custodia de las funciones de la IANA.</p>

o Caribe (LACNIC) em parceria com a Rede Científica Peruana
(Administradora do .PE) anuncia a organização do próximo evento
regional LACNIC 23 na cidade de Lima.</p>
<p> A reunião, que irá reunir à comunidade da Internet da América
Latina e o Caribe, será realizada de <b>18 a 22 de maio</b> no
Westin Lima Hotel & Convention Center do Peru. LACNIC 23 é um
espaço de networking e troca de experiências e análise de aspectos
chave para conhecer as últimas novidades sobre a Internet na
região e no mundo.</p>

<h1><small><small>Lima set to receive the LACNIC community in May</small></small></h1>
<p> </p>
<p> The Internet Addresses Registry for Latin America and the
Caribbean (LACNIC) and the Peruvian Scientific Network
(administrator of the .pe ccTLD) are pleased to announce that
LACNIC's upcoming event, LACNIC 23, will be held in the city of
Lima.</p>
<p> The Latin American and Caribbean Internet community will meet on
<b>18-22 May</b> at the Westin Lima Hotel & Convention Center
for LACNIC 23, a space designed for networking and sharing
experiences as well as for keeping up with key regional and global
Internet news and issues.</p>
<p> Highlights of the event include several new activities such as
the Women and IT meeting, the OEM panel, presentations of real
life IPv6 implementation cases, and the forum for discussing the
transition stewardship of the IANA functions.</p>
