<p>Estimadas colegas</p>
<p>Como habrán notado, este ha sido un año de poca actividad en la
lista de IT Women. </p>
<p>Esta pausa fue motivada por la necesidad de conocerlas mejor,
para entender que aspectos de la vida empresarial, institucional
de LACNIC, personal o de sus vidas cotidianas, <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>podrían estar obstaculizando
su participación plena en los espacios de interacción de LACNIC.</p>
<p>En este proceso nos acompañó nuestra colega Carolina Aguerre,
quien lideró una investigación para documentar las barreras que
afectan la participación de mujeres en la comunidad de LACNIC.
Este mapeo nos permitió identificar oportunidades para
introducir nuevas líneas de trabajo y fortalecer iniciativas
existentes. </p>
<p>En base a este y otros insumos, estaremos reactivando las
actividades a través de la lista, que será moderada por nuestra
Coordinadora de Proyectos de Desarrollo, Carolina Caeiro. </p>
<p>Siguiendo este correo, Carolina compartirá con ustedes nuestra
propuesta de trabajo para lo que queda de 2019, incluyendo dos
webinars y una reunión presencial en LACNIC 32.</p>
<p>Aprovecho esta oportunidad para agradecer a nuestra colega
Beatriz Irisarri por su compromiso y contribución a la lista
durante su período como moderadora. </p>
