Rotación de la KSK de la zona raíz</strong></font>
<p> El próximo martes 9 de agosto a las 17 UTC, LACNIC y LACNOG
llevarán a cabo un webinar donde se contestarán dudas sobre la
rotación de la KSK de la zona raíz.</p>
<p> Este proceso, que llevará un año, se ha iniciado el 11 de
julio con la publicación de la nueva clave de las extensiones de
seguridad del sistema de nombres de dominio (DNSSEC). Está
previsto que el proceso de rotación de las claves culmine en
agosto de 2018 con la supresión de la antigua llave del
equipamiento en las instalaciones de la ICANN dedicadas a la
administración de claves. Para ese entonces, todos los
operadores de Internet deberán haber sustituido la contraseña
antigua por la nueva.</p>

<h1> <strong>Root Zone KSK Rollover Rotation Webinar (available
in Spanish only)</strong></h1>
<p> Next Tuesday 9 August at 17:00 UTC, LACNIC and LACNOG will
offer a webinar where they will answer questions about the root
zone KSK rollover.</p>
<p> This process began on 11 July when the Domain Name System
security extensions (DNSSEC) KSK key was published. The rollover
process is expected to be completed in August 2018, when ICANN
will remove the previous key from the equipment it uses to
manage keys in its facilities. By then, every Internet operator
must have replaced their old password with the new one.</p>

<p> Na próxima terça-feira 9 de agosto às 17.00h UTC, LACNIC e
LACNOG vão realizar um webinar para responder dúvidas acerca da
rotação da KSK da zona raiz.</p>
<p> Este processo, que irá levar um ano, começou em 11 de julho
com a publicação da nova chave das extensões de segurança do
sistema de nomes de domínio (DNSSEC). Prevê-se que o processo
de rotação das chaves expire em agosto de 2018, com a supressão
da antiga chave do equipamento nas instalações da ICANN
dedicadas ao gerenciamento de chaves. Para esse momento, todos
os operadores da Internet deverão ter substituído a senha antiga
pela nova.</p>
