<p>Hi Alejandro. Sure they don't. The possible reading is that for
the past 3 years the revenue has increased and stabilized. Another
point to highlight is that it was just recently in May 2019 that
ICANN removed the price caps from .org.<br>

Looking to those numbers don't say much. Revenue is a terrific number
but more important is the profit or net income, with it should be "easy"
to estimate ROI in years. For a business of 50mm is hard to say what
investor want but probably they are looking for a return of investment
in 6-10 years.... .org does not sound as a risky business.

jaja.. bueno, traes un tema interesante. Porque ISOC parece
estar
forrado en dinero. Da fortuna a IETF. Asi y todo IETF clama
independencia. ISOC clama no intervenir... aunque elige al chair
del nomcom.
E IETF sigue cobrando una fortuna por el fee, que los meros
morales, a
quien en teoria nos ayuda isoc, debemos pagar de nuestro bolsillo.
-> no es tan fácil como lo cuentas ... el IETF ha pedido
"independencia" administrativa, pero bajo el paraguas de ISOC, porque
sigue siendo la mayor fuente de ingresos, y le da cobertura legal
como non-for-profit, y muchas mas implicaciones, no se si has seguido
el proceso de IASA 2.0.
Hay algo bastante bizarro en todo esto....
Respecto de la cuestion .ORG, no estudie el tema, por lo
cual no puedo
hablar.
