Con mucha tristeza envío esta triste noticia.<br>

<p>La envío porque Fred fue amigo de la Casa de Internet, participó
como ponente en nuestros eventos, ayudó con Dr. IPv6, apoyó el
proyecto NAT Meter y sin mencionar todo lo que hizo por Internet.
Sin duda alguna será recordado.</p>

<p>Hello all,</p>
What sad news. For me, Fred was literally a mentor. I don't know
why, but he always supported me. Every time I sent him an email, I
got a response. Every time I invited him to do something with
LACNIC, he said yes. I learned so much from him; for sure, he will
be very missed. RIP.

Fred, in his multiple roles at the IETF (including IETF chair)
and as Cisco Fellow, was a role model for me and a personal
mentor. His Internet contributions are obviously numerous.<br>
For sure, he will be greatly missed.<br>
