Latinoamericana y Caribe?a:
Como parte de la campa?a de LACNIC para la promoci?n de IPv6 en
Latinoam?rica y Caribe, IPv6 Tour, y aprovechando la presencia de
representantes de diversas organizaciones y expertos internacionales de
la comunidad de Internet para el NANOG45, el 29 de enero del 2009, se
realizar? en Santo Domingo, Rep?blica Dominicana el ?Taller de IPv6 en
Rep?blica Dominicana?, conjuntamente con la PUCMM (Pontificia
Universidad Cat?lica Madre y Maestra) e INDOTEL (Instituto Dominicano de
las Telecomunicaciones).
El evento tiene la misi?n de divulgar el conocimiento sobre el Nuevo
Protocolo de Internet (IPv6), sus aspectos t?cnicos y su importancia en
t?rminos de desarrollo a nivel nacional y regional, exponer el estado de
las pol?ticas p?blicas en la distribuci?n de servicios de Internet y
promover la adopci?n del nuevo protocolo de direcciones de Internet IPv6
en Rep?blica Dominicana.

Dear friends, LACNIC members and participants of the Latin American and
Caribbean Internet community:
As part of the LACNIC campaign for the IPv6 promotion in Latin America
and the Caribbean, IPv6 Tour, and taking advantage of the presence in
Santo Domingo of representatives of different organizations and
international experts of the Internet community, who will travel to
attend the NANOG45, on January 29, 2009, will be held the IPv6 Workshop
in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, jointly with the PUCMM University
(Pontificia Universidad Cat?lica Madre y Maestra) and INDOTEL (Dominican
Institute of Telecommunications).
The event has the aim to share and spread the knowledge about the New
Internet Protocol (IPv6), its technical aspects and its importance in
terms of development in the regional and national level, expose the
public policies in the distribution of Internet services and promote the
adoption of the new protocol of Internet addresses IPv6 in Dominican
Republic.
Event venue: Octagonal AO4 Room, at the PUCMM University facilities,
