According to the ranking of ISOC (The Internet Society), which keeps
statistics on access to large content providers using IPv6 worldwide,
Brazil's Unesp (Universidade Estadual Paulista Julio de Mesquita
Filho) ranks first in Latin America and eighteenth place overall in
IPv6. In Brazil, Unesp is first with 18.3 percent, followed by PoP RNP
in Bahia with 4.53 percent and the PoP RNP in Sao Paulo with 0.87
percent. This means that 18.3% of all access from Unesp equipment to
the largest content providers on the internet, such as Google,
Facebook and Yahoo, uses the IPv6 protocol.
