Amigos,

Tengo mucho gusto en presentarles la versión "beta" del sitio WEB de  
NAPLA.

La dirección es:  http://napla.lacnic.net

El sitio por ahora sólo se encuentra disponible en español, pero luego  
de la reunión de Salvador se trabajará en contar con el material  
también en inglés y portugues.

Les cuento que la plataforma que utilizamos es Drupal y la idea es que  
el manejo del contenido sea dinámico. De esta forma cada NAP generará  
un usuario (en realidad uno por ubicación) y podrá pues actualizar  
toda la información en forma autónoma. También se podrán colocar  
noticias y eventos.

Creo que es una excelente herramienta para la comunicación externa e  
interna, para mantener en un lugar todo el material que hemos generado  
en nuestras reuniones y encontrar la información de contacto sobre los  
NAP de la región.

Les pido por favor a los diferentes NAPs que soliciten sus usuarios y  
comiencen a utilizar la herramienta.

I am very glad to introduce the "beta" version of the NAPLA website.

The link is: http://napla.lacnic.net

The site is currently only available in spanish but an english and  
portuguese version will be available soon.

The site runs over Drupal, so the idea is that each IXP will have a  
username and can log in to complete its information.

I believe it is a great tool to help in our internal and external  
communication as well as work as a repository for the material that we  
generate at our meetings and find contact information about the IXPs.

To all IXPs, please request a username and please start testing the  
tool.
