[LACNIC/Napla] Extension of deadline for candidates of LACNIC Public Forum

LACNIC announces that, at proposal of the co-Chairs of the Public Forum, 
it has been extended the period to receive nominations and expressions 
of support for candidates to occupy the position of Co-Chair of LACNIC´s 
Public Forum. The new closing date is Friday May 7, 2010 at 20.00 UTC

For full details on the election process, requirements to submit a 
nomination, and further information on the Co-Chair of the Public Forum

Likewise, we remind all of the open periods for nominations of 
candidates currently open to occupy seats on the following positions at 
LACNIC:

*1 seat for Chair of the Interconnection/NAPLA Forum*

- Reception of nominations closes: April 30, 2010 at 16.00 UTC
- Voter´s registration list closes: April 30, 2010 at 16.00 UTC
- Voting: April 30 to May 18, 2010 (at 12.00 h Curaçao time)
- Announcement of result: May 18 2010 at 3.30 pm Curaçao time (at the 
end of the NAPLA meeting)
