Como saben, el proyecto Simon nos ha permitido recolectar importante<br>
información de latencia en Latino America… Para los que no conozcan el<br>

Cumpliendo con el pedido en la presentación del proyecto, en LACNIC<br>
Panamá, incorporamos a los países del Caribe en la aplicación (aunque<br>
aún no hemos encontrado puntos de prueba allí).<br>

Queremos correr un analisis estadistico sobre los datos, para lo cual<br>
requerimos mas muestras de mas paises… Queríamos pedirles para accedan<br>
a la página:  <a href="http://simon.lacnic.net/" target="_blank">simon.lacnic.net</a>  y  prueben el applet en:<br>

Cuatro cosas importantes:<br>
- - Recuerden verificar que su browser tenga java habilitado<br>
- - Por favor elijan el país en el que se encuentran al momento de<br>
correr la aplicación.<br>
- - El applet demora unos 3 a 5 minutos en correr y es necesario<br>
dejarlo correr hasta el final.<br>
- - Es importante evitar lugares con conocidos problemas de última<br>
milla: Anchos de banda saturados o enlaces wireless.<br>

As you might know, the Project Simon has allowed us to get very<br>
interesting information about Latency in Latin America.  For all of<br>

As requested Turing the Project presentation, in LACNIC Panama, we<br>
added the countries from the Caribbean to the application (although we<br>
don’t have test points there, yet)<br>

We want to run some statistical analysis over the data, for which we<br>
need to have more samples from more countries. We would like to ask<br>

<a href="http://simon.lacnic.net/es/applet2.php" target="_blank">http://simon.lacnic.net/es/applet2.php</a><br>

Four important points<br>
<br>
- - Remember to verify your browser has Java support enables<br>
- - Select the right country (the country where you are) in the apple<br>
- - The applet takes about 3-5 to run… and you need to let it finish<br>
- - Avoid to run the test from locations where you know there is last<br>
mile issues..: saturated links, wireless, etc<br>
