<br />El Programa FRIDA finalizó su primer etapa de trabajo seleccionando el primer
<br />grupo de propuestas que serán apoyadas durante los próximos 2 años en el
<br />marco de la primera Convocatoria (2004).
<br />
<br />El Comité de Selección de proyectos que tuvo la ardua tarea de evaluar las
<br />122 propuestas recibidas, concluyó su trabajo de casi 2 meses habiendo
<br />seleccionado 8 proyectos anuales y 4 proyectos bianuales, los cuales
<br />empezarán a ejecutarse en los próximos días.
<br />
<br />Las 12 propuestas de investigación seleccionadas pertenecen a organizaciones
<br />de Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, México, Perú,
<br />Uruguay y Venezuela, las que recibirán un monto total de US$ 193.000,
<br />aportado por las organizaciones convocantes (IDRC, ICA, LACNIC e ISOC).

<br />La lista de las propuestas seleccionadas en la Convocatoria 2004 del Programa

<br />La amplitud en el número de propuestas, los países de origen, el tipo de
<br />organizaciones proponentes, los grupos sociales beneficiarios y los temas
<br />comprendidos, son una clara muestra de las necesidades de nuestra región, así
<br />como de la importancia del rol que el programa FRIDA puede cumplir, y del
<br />alcance de las organizaciones intervinientes.

<br />O Comitê de Seleção de projetos que teve a árdua tarefa de avaliar as 122
<br />propostas recebidas, concluiu seu trabalho de quase 2 meses tendo selecionado
<br />XX projetos anuais e XX projetos bi-anuais, os que começarão a ser executados
<br />nos próximos dias.

<br />As XX propostas de pesquisa selecionadas pertencem a organizações de
<br />Argentina, Bolívia, Brasil, Chile, Costa Rica, Equador, México, Perú, Uruguai
<br />e Venezuela, as que receberão um montante total de US$ 193.000, outorgado
<br />pelas organizações convocantes (IDRC, ICA, LACNIC e ISOC).

<br />The first working phase of the FRIDA Program ended with the selection of the
<br />first group of proposals that will receive financial support during the
<br />following two years within the framework of the program's first Summons
<br />(2004).
<br />
<br />The Project Selection Committee that was in charge of the arduous task of
<br />assessing the 122 proposals that were received concluded its tasks after
<br />almost two months of intense work. XX annual projects and XX biannual
<br />projects were selected and will begin to be executed within the next days.
<br />
<br />The XX investigation proposals which were selected belong to organizations
<br />from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru,
<br />Uruguay y Venezuela, and they will receive a total amount of US$ 193,000,
<br />contributed by the summoning organizations (IDRC, ICA, LACNIC and ISOC).
