My concern was with the bandwidth. The pings were OK.

I've tested again today, a little better but still bad:

USA->Uruguay (ADSL): 396Kbps average (not bad for my connection)
Europe->Uruguay (ADSL): 161Kbps average

USA->Uruguay (FTTH 30Mbps): 1.54Mbps average
Europe->Uruguay (FTTH 30Mbps): 130Kbps average (horror!)

Also, the bandwidth in one case at FTTH peaked at 200kbps but then went to
100kbps.
