Buen Dia,

Les comparto este articulo de Geoff Huston, en la tercera y ultima parte
es principalmente sobre IPv6.
https://blog.apnic.net/2017/02/02/addressing-in-2016/

Sin lugar a dudas, varios puntos a reflexionar, y destaca un par de paises
de nuestra region.

Cito algunas partes:
"Today's Internet is close to 100% IPv4 and around 10% IPv6."

"Comparing 2015 to 2016, the number of individual allocations of IPv6
address space has risen by some 20%. By contrast, the number of IPv4
allocations has fallen by 16% in this same period". (Table 11).

Justo antes de la ultima parte:

".. registries and service operators do not feel as constrained with
their address management practices with IPv6, and are willing to
operate with very low address utilization efficiencies....IPv6 appears to
have succeeded!"

"
There has been much in the way of progress in the transition to IPv6 in
2016, but that does not necessarily mean that other providers will follow
the lead."

SALUDOS
