ECOM-LAC, LACTLD y LACNIC

ECOMLAC, LACTLD y LACNIC anuncian la  realización de un evento conjunto
que se desarrollará en la ciudad de Montevideo, Uruguay del 29 de marzo
al 1 de abril del 2004, en el Radisson Montevideo – Victoria Plaza
Hotel. 

Estas tres organizaciones tienen el agrado de invitar a todos los
miembros de la comunidad de Internet latinoamericana y caribeña, a
miembros de ECOM-LAC, LACTLD y LACNIC y a toda persona u organización
interesada en asistir a este importante evento, cuyas actividades
conjuntas incluyen:

	-El Primer Foro Latinoamericano de IPv6, FLIP6
	-Taller de visión estratégica de futuro sobre la administración
de recursos de numeración de Internet. 
	-Mesa redonda sobre Gobierno de Internet, en la que participarán
organizaciones de la región (LACTLD, ECOM-LAC, LACNIC) representantes de
otras organizaciones, integrantes de la sociedad civil y gobiernos de la
región. 

En el marco de esta reunión, también tendrán lugar los siguientes
encuentros:

“ECOM-LAC/2004 - Encuentro Regional de TIC" cuyo programa incluye:

	-Reunión abierta con presentaciones sobre: avances de la firma
digital en la región, legislación sobre datos personales, ENUM y la
convergencia de telefonía y el DNS, actividades de ECOM-LAC para el 2004
	-Pre NAPLA: reunión preparatoria del próximo encuentro
latinoamericano de NAPs que se llevará a cabo en el año 2004 a
iniciativa de ECOMLAC.

LACNIC VI, Dentro de las actividades desarrolladas por LACNIC, se
incluyen:
	-Asamblea de miembros de LACNIC
	-6to. Foro Público de Políticas de Asignación de Recursos de
Internet
	-Tutoriales de interés técnico:  DNS avanzado y Multicast. 

Asimismo, los administradores de los códigos territoriales de Internet
(ccTLDs) sostendrán una reunión con miras a formalizar LACTLD, la
organización regional de ccTLDs.

LACNIC e a comunidade Internet da América Latina e do Caribe, a membros

incluem:

	-Primeiro Fórum Latino americano de IPv6, FLIP6
	-Seminário de visão estratégica de futuro sobre a administração
de recursos de numeração Internet.
	-Mesa redonda sobre Governo e Internet, na qual participarão
organizações da região (LACTLD, ECOM-LAC, LACNIC) representantes de
otras organizações, integrantes da sociedade civil e governos da região.

Internet.	
	-Tutoriais de interesse técnico: DNS avançado e Multicast.

Assim mesmo, os administradores de códigos territoriais de Internet
(ccTLDs) sustentarão uma reunião visando formalizar o LACTLD,
organização regional dos ccTLDs.

ECOM-LAC, LACTLD and LACNIC Event

ECOMLAC, LACTLD and LACNIC announce the joint event that will be held in
the city of Montevideo, Uruguay, from March 29, 2004, to April 1, 2004,
at the Radisson Montevideo - Victoria Plaza Hotel.

These three organizations have the pleasure of inviting all members of
the Internet community of Latin America and the Caribbean, members of
ECOM-LAC, LACTLD and LACNIC, and all persons or organizations interested
in participating in this important event, the joint activities of which
include:

- 	The First Latin American IPv6, FLIP6 Forum.
- 	Workshop on strategic outlook on the administration of Internet
numbering resources.
- 	Round Table on Internet Government, with the participation of
organizations from within the region (LACTLD, ECOM-LAC, LACNIC),
representatives from other organizations, members of civil society and
governments of the region.

Within the framework of this reunion the following meetings will be
held:

"ECOM-LAC/2004 - TIC Regional Meeting". The program for this meeting
includes:

- 	Open meeting with presentations on: Advances of the digital
signature within the region, legislation on personal information, ENUM
and the convergence of telephony and DNS, ECOM-LAC activities for 2004.
- 	Pre NAPLA: Meeting in preparation for the next Latin American
NAP meeting that will be held during 2004 by initiative of ECOMLAC.

LACNIC VI. The activities that will be carried out by LACNIC include:

-	LACNIC Member Assembly
-	6th Public Forum on Internet Resource Allocation Policies
-	Tutorials of technical interest: Advanced DNS and Multicast

In addition, the administrators of Internet country code top level
domains (ccTLDs) will hold a meeting with the view of formalizing
LACTLD, the regional ccTLD organization.
