Hoy, martes 9 de setiembre del 2008, la comunidad latinoamericana y 
caribeña tiene la oportunidad de debatir online el tema “Promoviendo 
ciberseguridad y confianza”, en continuidad con la Reunión
Regional Preparatoria del Foro de Gobernanza de Internet realizada el 
pasado 20 de agosto en Montevideo, Uruguay 
(http://www.lacnic.net/sp/eventos/mvd2008/igf.html).

La plataforma de discusión estará basada en una lista de correo: 
cybersec at lacnic.net, en la cual todos los interesados podrán participar 
enviando correos electrónicos escritos en español, o inglés o portugués. 
Para facilitar la discusión, periódicamente se hará un resumen de los 
principales aportes, que se enviará a la lista en inglés y español.

Para participar y contribuir al debate regional de este tópico debe 
suscribirse a la lista a través del formulario online, seleccionando el 
tema: “Promoviendo ciberseguridad y confianza”, que encontrará en el

Today, Tuesday, September 9 2008, the Latin American and Caribbean 
community has the chance to debate online the topic: ‘Promoting 
Cybersecurity and Trust’, in continuity of the Regional Preparatory 
Meeting of the IGF that took place in Montevideo, Uruguay on August 20th 
(http://www.lacnic.net/en/eventos/mvd2008/igf.html).

The discussion platform will be based on a mailing list: 
cybersec at lacnic.net, in which all those who are interested could 
contribute to the discussion sending and receiving e-mails written in
Spanish, English or Portuguese. In order to enable the discussion, a 
summary will be done periodically with the main inputs, which will be 
sent to the list in English and Spanish.

To participate and contribute to the regional debate of this topic you 
should subscribe to the mailing list through the online form selecting
