  LACNIC obtiene certificación de calidad

El Registro de Direcciones de Internet para América Latina y el Caribe 
(LACNIC) recibió la certificación ISO 9001:2008 "Sistemas de Gestión de 
Calidad", una norma reconocida internacionalmente que asegura que la 
organización desarrolla un conjunto de principios que garantizan que sus 
actividades están enfocadas a la satisfacción de sus clientes y que las 
mismas se llevan a cabo con sentido común.

LACNIC es el segundo Registro Regional de Internet, de los cinco 
existentes en el mundo, en obtener la certificación ISO 9001:2008.

O Registro de Endereçamento de Internet para a América Latina e o Caribe 
(LACNIC) recebeu a certificação ISO 9001:2008 "Sistemas de Gestão de 
Qualidade", uma norma reconhecida a nível internacional que garante que 
a organização desenvolve um conjunto de princípios para assegurar que 
suas atividades estão focadas na satisfação de seus clientes e que são 
levadas a cabo com senso comum.

LACNIC é o segundo Registro Regional da Internet, dos cinco existentes 
no mundo, que obtém a certificação ISO 9001:2008.

  LACNIC Obtains Quality Certification

The Latin American and Caribbean Internet Address Registry (LACNIC) has 
obtained the ISO 9001:2008 Certification, Quality Management Systems. 
This internationally recognized standard requires that certified 
organizations adopt a set of principles that ensure a common sense 
approach to the management of their activities to consistently achieve 
customer satisfaction.

LACNIC is the second of the five existing Regional Internet Registries 
to obtain the ISO 9001:2008 Certification.
