Premio Trayectoria 2018 de LACNIC para el investigador Michael Stanton

El investigador y científico Michael Anthony Stanton recibió el Premio 
Trayectoria 2018 por su contribución al desarrollo de Internet en los 
países de América Latina y el Caribe.

El Premio Trayectoria es una distinción otorgada por el Registro de 
Direcciones de Internet para América Latina y el Caribe (LACNIC) a 
personalidades que han contribuido al crecimiento de una Internet 
abierta, estable y segura para el desarrollo de la región.

Stanton recibió el premio durante el encuentro LACNIC 30 LACNOG 2018, 
que reunió en Rosario (Argentina) a la comunidad de Internet de América 
Latina y el Caribe.

Prêmio Trajetória 2018 de LACNIC para o pesquisador Michael Stanton

O pesquisador e cientista Michael Anthony Stanton recebeu o Prêmio 
Trajetória 2018 por sua contribuição para o desenvolvimento da Internet 
nos países da América Latina e o Caribe.

O Prêmio Trajetória é uma distinção concedida pelo Registro de 
Endereçamento da Internet para a América Latina e o Caribe (LACNIC) a 
personalidades que contribuíram para o crescimento de uma Internet 
aberta, estável e segura para o desenvolvimento da região.

Stanton recebeu o prêmio durante o encontro LACNIC 30 LACNOG 2018, que 
reuniu a comunidade da Internet da América Latina e o Caribe em Rosario 
(Argentina).

LACNIC 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award Honors Researcher Michael Stanton

Researcher and scientist Michael Anthony Stanton received the 2018 
Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to Internet development 
in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The Lifetime Achievement Award is presented by the Latin American and 
Caribbean Internet Addresses Registry (LACNIC) to personalities who have 
contributed to the growth of an open, stable and secure Internet for the 
development of the region.

Stanton received his award during the LACNIC 30 LACNOG 2018 meeting, 
which brought the Latin American and Caribbean Internet community to 
Rosario, Argentina.

The Lifetime Achievement Award was created by the LACNIC Board in 2009 
to honor individuals whose achievements have had a significant impact on 
Internet development and have set an example for the rest of the 
community. Since its first edition in 2009, the Award has been presented 
to 19 leaders from 13 different countries throughout the LAC region.
