Dear LACNOG,

Good news from Brazil!

IX.br, one of the world’s largest route server deployments, has shared
their plans to migrate towards a secure mode of operation.

It is very encouraging to see large Internet Exchange Points invest time
and resources to help improve the Internet!

Some people may wonder “what do IX route servers in Brazil have to do with
me?” - but the simple fact is that the Internet is a global routing system,
and this means that routing incidents in one country can negatively affect
network operations in other countries - even if you don’t peer with route
servers!

This development is an important step forward for all of the LATAM region,
and I hope more IXPs will follow this initiative.

Kind regards,

Job

funcionalidades relacionadas a segurança. (
http://www.ix.br/doc/acoes-seguranca-ix-br-20180927.pdf)

http://www.ix.br/doc/cronograma-mudanca-rs-sao-paulo-20180927.pdf.

atividade descrita no cronograma.
