[LAC-TF] Confirmed Nominees for Representatives to the ASOAddress Council 2004 - RIPE NCC Service Region

Hola German,

No estoy convencido de ello ;-). Precisamente como desconocia el tema, durante el ultimo meeting de APNIC, hable de este tema con la gente de RIPE y me comentaron que la votacion se hace SOLO con la gente presente en la sala (incluso aunque no sean de la region RIPE). Esto lo establece la legislacion Europea, y por eso, de momento, las votaciones electronicas no son validas, aunque se espera que esto cambie proximamente.

Sin embargo, su comentario y recomendacion fue que el apoyo (expression of support) es bienvenido de todo el mundo (y de hecho ellos mismos han publicado las que han ido llegando de NA y AP - http://www.ripe.net/ripencc/about/regional/aso2004/palet_martinez.html#support). El efecto de la "expression of support" no es de sumar votos directamente, sino de ayudar a la gente que este en la sala en el momento de la votacion, y que no conozcan a los candidados, a dirimir si tienen soporte de la comunidad o no, y por tanto posiblemente a tomar una decision respecto de su voto.

En resumen, que cualquier apoyo es bienvenido y positivo.
