[LAC-TF] Video Server Streaming

Hola Jorge,

Para lo que tu indicas, y tratando de resumir, diria que la mejor opcion es
Windows Media Server o VLC. El primero tiene ciertas ventajas, como ser push
y pull, pero hay quien no desea utilizar Microsoft, aunque le supongo mucho
mas trabajo, y entonces tiene la opcion de VLC. Nosotros en ocasiones hemos
usado ambos en combinacion, por ejemplo para el ultimo eclipse.

Si se desea una aplicación de colaboracion/multiconferencia, ISABEL concede
licencias para entidades no-lucrativas, pero tambien hay otra opcion que
nosotros hemos probado hace poco y ha dado muy buenos resultados, tanto en
unicast como multicast y que es libre y se dispone del codigo fuente
ConferenceXP (www.conferencexp.net), de Microsoft Research.
