Estimados colegas de la comunidad de LACNIC:

Como en años anteriores, la Number Resource Organization (NRO) invita a 
participar en la 4ª. encuesta global consecutiva Monitoreo del 
Despliegue de IPv6, su uso actual y futuro.

La encuesta está online, por lo que invitamos a todos los miembros de 
nuestra comunidad a participar:

El propósito de la encuesta es comprender mejor hacia donde está 
avanzando la comunidad de Internet y qué se puede hacer para garantizar 
que esté lista para la adopción generalizada de IPv6. Esperamos que esta 
encuesta establezca una visión completa de la actual penetración de IPv6 
y de futuros planes para su despliegue.

La encuesta de este año es similar a las realizadas en años anteriores 
(2010, 2011 y 2012), lo cual permitirá comparar el progreso realizado. 
Lo que es claro es que la participación de la comunidad contribuye a un 
mejor entendimiento de cómo está siendo usado IPv6. En 2012, el 91% de 
los más de 1.500 encuestados manifestaron estar interesados en 
participar nuevamente en 2013.

La encuesta tiene un máximo de 30 preguntas y le tomará unos 20 minutos 
completarla. Para aquellos que aún no tengan asignaciones de IPv6 o que 
aún no hayan desplegado IPv6, habrá menos preguntas para responder.

Le encuesta estará abierta por un  mes y cerrará el 31 de julio de 2013.
Los resultados de esta encuesta serán presentados y discutidos 
ampliamente con el apoyo de cada Registro de Direcciones de Internet 
Regional (RIR).

The IPv6 Deployment Monitoring Survey is now online, and we encourage 
all members of our community to participate:

The purpose of the survey is to better understand where the Internet 
community is going, and what can be done to ensure it is ready for the 
widespread adoption of IPv6. We hope this survey will establish a 
comprehensive view of current IPv6 penetration and future deployment
plans for IPv6.

This year's survey is similar to those conducted in previous years 
(2010, 2011 and 2012), and will enable a comparison of progress. What is 
clear is that community participation does contribute to a better 
understanding of how IPv6 is being used. In 2012, 91% of the over 1,500

in the 2013 survey.
