Hola gente

Este anuncio ha sido distribuido en diferentes listas de operadores de 
redes a nivel global.

APNIC aplicara a partir del 30 de septiembre 2004 un nuevo criterio para la 
consulta de sus registros en su servicio de WHOIS.

El nuevo criterio contempla que los ISP en esta region no estaran obligados 
a publicar en las consultas tradicionales al WHOIS  la informacion de las 
reasignaciones de direcciones IP a sus clientes por razones de privacidad 
de la informacion.

Para aquellos operadores que realizan consultas al WHOIS de APNIC deberan 
tener en cuenta este nueva politica.

Es importante senhalar que la informacion de las reasignaciones se seguira 
realizando de manera interna en la Base de Datos de  APNIC pero solo con el 
consentimiento explicito del ISP se podra acceder via WHOIS.
