LACNIC recuerda que ha hecho un llamado a comentarios sobre la propuesta
de Memorando de Entendimiento (MoU) entre el NRO (Number Resource
Organization) y el ICANN. En dicho Memorando se detallan la manera y las
condiciones bajo las cuales el NRO actuará como el Address Supporting
Organization (ASO) de ICANN. 

La aprobación final the este Memorando de Entendimiento (MoU) está
sujeta a comentarios publicos administrados por los Registros Regionales
de Internet (RIR) del NRO y por ICANN. 

Comentarios sobre el Memorando pueden enviarse por e-mail a:

La fecha de cierre del período para recibir comentarios es el viernes 7
de mayo de 2004.

LACNIC has issued a call for comments on the proposed Memorandum of
Understanding (MoU) between the Number Resource Organization (NRO) and
ICANN. This MoU details the conditions under which and the manner in
which the NRO will act as the ICANN Address Supporting Organization
(ASO).

As outlined in a signed Letter of Intent, each RIR is required to have a
public comment period. The Letter of Intent and draft MoU can be found
on the NRO website at:

LACNIC invites any and all interested parties to send comments to the
