LACNIS is looking for a Communications Coordinator

To coordinate and implement the communication strategies and policies 
designed by Senior Management and the Communications and External 
Relations Department, ensuring that the goals defined in said strategies 
and policies are met, dealing with the needs of various projects and 
units, and managing the necessary resources and processes.

To prepare and execute the Annual Communications Plan
To actively identify opportunities for improving how Institutional 
Communications are managed aimed at effectively reaching different 
target audiences
To support the Communications and External Relations Department, 
identifying alternatives for meeting its goals while minimizing risks 
and correcting deviations
To efficiently manage all Institutional Communications through social 
media such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and others
To actively manage communications at and about LACNIC's institutional 
events, taking advantage of their potential in terms of LACNIC's 
communications strategy
To identify, prepare and produce support materials for Institutional 
Communications such as, among others, documents, websites, brochures, 
reports and audiovisual material
To ensure the continuous updating, quality and efficiency of the 
institutional website and other satellite websites (FRIDA, Amparo, IPv6 
Portal and others) as the main communications channel with customers and 
the regional community
To supervise the execution of actions relating to LACNIC's Institutional 
To execute strategic projects under his or her direct responsibility

A minimum of three years' experience in similar positions is required. 
Experience in multicultural environments is a plus.


Fluency in Spanish, both oral and written (required)
Fluency in English, both oral and written (required)
Knowledge of Portuguese and French is a plus

Mandatory requirements:
Advanced knowledge of Office tools and social media
Availability to travel
