  LACNIC presenta Testing v6

LACNIC pone al servicio de sus miembros y de la comunidad de Internet la 
metodología /Certiv6/  y una variedad de cursos para aprender a 
implementarla, testar equipos y aplicaciones en IPv4, en IPv6 y en 
entornos doble pila.

/Certiv6/ es una metodología genérica diseñada por LACNIC y el CES 
(Centro de Ensayos de Software de Uruguay), que permite comprobar la 
compatibilidad de sistemas operando sobre IPv6. El objetivo de esta 
iniciativa es apoyar a los miembros de LACNIC y a la comunidad de 
Internet durante el proceso de adecuación de sus sistemas informáticos y 
contribuir a mitigar los riesgos inherentes a la migración del protocolo 
IPv4 al IPv6.

En el marco de LACNIC 23, el lunes 18 de mayo de 9 a 12.30 se realizará 
un tutorial introductorio en el que se presentará el tema y  la 
estructura del curso, y donde se trabajará con ejercicios prácticos para 
ejemplificar situaciones reales.

Los cursos estarán disponibles a partir del 20 de julio de 2015 y en 
primera instancia se dictarán en idioma español.

  LACNIC apresenta o Testing v6


LACNIC disponibiliza para seus membros e para a comunidade da Internet a 
metodologia /Certiv6/ e uma variedade de cursos para aprender a 
implantá-la, testar equipamentos e aplicativos em IPv4, IPv6 e ambientes 
dupla pilha.

/Certiv6 /é uma metodologia genérica criada por LACNIC em parceria com o 
CES (Centro de Ensaios de Software do Uruguai), que permite comprovar a 
compatibilidade de sistemas quando operam sobre IPv6. O objetivo desta 
iniciativa é apoiar tanto os membros de LACNIC quanto a comunidade da 
Internet no processo de adequação de seus sistemas informáticos e 
contribuir a mitigar os riscos inerentes à migração do protocolo IPv4 
para o IPv6.

No marco do LACNIC 23, na segunda-feira 18 de maio das 9 às 12.30h será 
realizado um tutorial introdutório para apresentar o assunto e a 
estrutura do curso, trabalhando com exercícios práticos para 
exemplificar situações reais.

Os cursos vão estar disponíveis a partir de 20 de julho de 2015 e, em 
primeira instância, serão ministrados em espanhol.

  LACNIC Introduces Testing v6

LACNIC will offer its members and the Internet community in general the 
/Certiv6/ methodology, as well as a variety of courses to learn about 
its implementation and equipment testing in IPv4, IPv6, and dual-stack 
environments.

/Certiv6/ is a generic methodology designed by LACNIC and CES (the 
Uruguayan Software Testing Center) that allows checking the 
compatibility of systems operating on IPv6. The goal of this initiative 
is to support LACNIC members and the Internet community at large during 
the process of adapting their IT systems and helping mitigate the risks 
that migrating from IPv4 to IPv6 inherently involves.

On Monday, 18 May, from 9 am to 12 pm, an introductory tutorial will be 
held within the framework of the LACNIC 23 meeting, where the topics to 
be covered during the course and its structure will be presented and 
participants will have the chance to work on hands-on exercises 
illustrating real-life situations.

These courses will be available starting on July 20, 2015. The first 
editions will be conducted in Spanish.
