Igualmente que Alvaro, aquí les envío lo referente a la presentación de IEEE OmniRAN que daré en Vancouver, el lunes por la tarde:

4. IEEE 802 OmniRAN Project

Objective: 

The IEEE 802 is requesting IETF/IntArea for feedback on the draft

scope of a new group called OmniRAN. The new group plans to define a

“Network Reference Model and Functional Description of IEEE 802 Access

Network.” Use cases such as “Smart Grid” and “SDN-based Model” are

being considered by the OmniRAN group. A brief overview of the group

will be presented and feedback will be requested at the meeting.

La presentación tendrá lugar durante el Internet Area meeting, del cual soy co-chair y que como mencione en la llamada es un foro abierto a nuevos temas del área y a comunicaciones externas.

Hola!

Durante la llamada de hoy del ietf-lac, Christian tuvo la excelente sugerencia de comunicar por la lista sobre las presentaciones que se van a hacer en Vancouver. El objetivo es informar, pero también fomentar la interacción dentro de la comunidad y el apoyo a los esfuerzos de la región.

Voy a empezar yo. :-)  

Por otros compromisos de trabajo solo voy a poder estar en Vancouver el lunes..  Sin embargo, tengo un draft nuevo que probablemente va a ser presentado en la reunión de idr (BGP) el viernes en la mañana:  

'Use of the Cost Community to carry the Accumulated IGP Metric' (http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-retana-idr-aigp-cost-community):  Es un documento muy simple que habla de usar el Cost Community para dar más flexibilidad al AIGP en BGP.

El lunes voy a estar bastante ocupado ya que los dos grupos de trabajo en los que soy Chair se reúnen ese día:

La agenda de rtgwg (https://datatracker.ietf.org/meeting/88/agenda/rtgwg) contiene (como siempre) una mezcla de temas.  El que me parece más interesante es el draft de Fred Baker llamado "Requirements and Use Cases for Source/Destination Routing" (http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-baker-rtgwg-src-dst-routing-use-cases).

El proceso para que spring se convierta en WG no ha concluido: todavía somos un BOF (nos reunimos en Berlin bajo el nombre 'status'), pero todos esperamos que la revisión del IESG termine antes de la reunión.   La agenda está abajo; siendo un WG nuevo vamos a empezar a discutir usos, etc.

Finalmente, tengo que participar en la reunión del área de enrutamiento (rtgarea / https://datatracker.ietf.org/meeting/88/agenda/rtgarea/).   En esta reunión se presenta el estado de cada uno de los grupos de trabajo de RTG.
