Hola Alexander,
frecuentemente nos arriban mensajes sobre IP Echelon indicando que actúan
en representación de productoras como Warner, etc., e indican que han
detectado que una IP registrada bajo nuestra administración está
descargando o compartiendo contenido con derechos de autor. Usualmente a
través de P2P como bit torrent.
En nuestro caso, en el contrato que firma el usuario final del servicio se
explicita la total responsabilidad del buen uso de la conexión a internet
provista; por lo que, en el hipotético caso que Echelon accionara en contra
de nuestra Cooperativa, se refiere al abonado de manera directa, en base a
esta cláusula contractual.
Asimismo, no encontré registros de acciones legales tomadas por estos
representantes ni mucho menos el bloqueo de la red (para tal caso no
comprendo bien de qué manera podrían..); ahora un desafío complejo se da en
el caso en que se posea un grupo importantes de usuarios nateados bajo la
misma IP, pero de todas formas, mientras no pertenezca al uso particular de
la institución/empresa en la que trabajas, no deberías tener mayores
inconvenientes.
