Hola Simón,

Si realmente quieres aprovechar tu participación en el IETF, mi recomendación es que te suscribas "desde ya" a las listas de correo de los grupos de trabajo en los que tienes interés, empieces a leer los documentos que se están discutiendo y contribuyas con tus sugerencias, dudas, comentarios, etc.

Por ejemplo, ahora mismo estamos discutiendo este documento:

    Dado que no parece haber opciones a corto plazo para un nuevo IETF en LAC, y sabiendo que el IETF del próximo verano tendrá lugar en Madrid, animo a los interesados en participar que reserven sus vuelos con anticipación y grandes descuentos que hemos negociado con Iberia (hay muchos vuelos directos con Iberia y otras compañías OneWorld desde la mayoría de las capitales de LAC).

    Toda la información está en estos correos (ver abajo) que se acaban de enviar a la lista general del IETF.

        A quick clarification on this.

        The discount is covering also many OneWorld code-shared flights, not just Iberia operated.

        Furthermore, is not only for registered attendees, "friends and families" are welcome.

        Note also that the discount is open for flights from July 1st to September 7th, in order to facilitate a longer trip, and not just for the IETF meeting.

        The idea is that being the summer IETF, some folks may be interested in taking the opportunity for some tourism/vacations. Clearly this is not the IETF target, but some people could take advantage of that extended period.

        The web site has all the information and also a presentation in PDF, however if anything is not clear enough, feel free to drop me a private email with your question and I will try my best to help.

        Of course, as usual, as earlier your reserve your flights, more choices and more fares will be available.
