Hola Carlos,

Es una forma de medir la eficacia de las asignaciones de direcciones (por
factores como los niveles de estructure jerarquica). No estoy seguro de que
haya un buen documento que lo explique en castellano. El termino proviene de
Host Density Ratio, descrito en los RFCs 1715 y actualizado en el 3194.

Yo creo que parte del problema es que aplicamos a IPv6 una metrica que fue
diseñada pensando en IPv4, y esto no es del todo correcto, como se describe
en draft-huston-ipv6-hd-metric-00.txt.
