El Registro de Direcciones de Internet para América Latina y el Caribe 
(LACNIC) entregó hoy al destacado ingeniero uruguayo José Clastornik el 
Premio Trayectoria 2017 por su contribución al desarrollo de Internet en 
los países de América Latina y el Caribe

En el marco del encuentro LACNIC 28/LACNOG 2017, que reúne en Montevideo 
a los líderes regionales de Internet, Clastornik recibió este premio por 
sus permanentes esfuerzos para promover el desarrollo igualitario de 
Internet en la región y especialmente en Uruguay, país donde dirige la 
Agencia de Gobierno Electrónico (AGESIC).

Clastornik o Prêmio Trajetória 2017 pela sua contribuição ao 
desenvolvimento da Internet nos países da América Latina e o Caribe.

No âmbito do encontro LACNIC 28/LACNOG 2017, que reúne em Montevidéu aos 
líderes regionais da Internet, Clastornik recebeu este prêmio por seus 
contínuos esforços na promoção do desenvolvimento igualitário da 
Internet na região e principalmente no Uruguai, país onde ele dirige a

*José Clastornik Receives the 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award*

Today, the Latin American and Caribbean Internet Address Registry 
(LACNIC) presented noted Uruguayan engineer José Clastornik with the 
2017 Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to the development 
of the Internet in the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean

Clastornik received this award for his ongoing efforts to promote 
equitable Internet development in the region, especially in Uruguay, the 
country where he heads the e-Government Agency (AGESIC). The Award was 
presented within the context of the LACNIC 28 / LACNOG 2017 meeting, 
which brings together regional Internet leaders, this time in the city 
of Montevideo.
