Sería una buena oportunidad para hacer eco ya sea por esta lista, o por las personas que se encuentran en el evento y hayan sociabilizado. Por lo poco que sé, Costa Rica no tiene muchos ISPs, hasta no hace mucho era un monopolio, de alguna forma tratemos de hacerles llegar esta solicitud ya que esta práctica del PTR, SPF, match de inversa con directa, etc no son noticia nueva, y de seguro que en el tiempo tendremos muchos más requisitos que se van convirtiendo en obligatorios con el tiempo. Propongo no usar adjetivos calificativos para así no espantar a los afectados, mas al contrario, estamos a disposición suyo para colaborar.

Creo que entiendo lo de que son flojos, en Castellano de España diríamos que son “vagos”, “perezosos”, “holgazanes”, “remolones”, “haraganes” … No me extraña que haya tantos sinónimos ! ;-)
Ahora bien, la falta de disponibilidad, quieres decir que no se ofrece ese servicio? Entiendo que eso ocurra a un usuario residencial, que quiere poner su servidor de correo y el ISP no le asigna el PTR, de hecho es una medida para evitar spam desde redes residenciales, que muchas veces no es ni siquiera el usuario, sino bots, desde sus dispositivos.
Pero un ISP como puede ser que no tenga disponibilidad para que sus propios SMTPs tengan PTR?
Desconocimiento? Me parecería una incompetencia …

Una razon puede ser que el proveedor no tiene esa disponibilidad con el usuario/cliente
Otra es que son flojos.

Bajo mi punto de vista es una buena práctica, diría que, de obligatorio cumplimiento, pues cada vez es más frecuente que muchos servidores de correo, como medida básica ante el spam, se NIEGUEN a recibir correos que SMTPs que no tengan una configuración correcta del PTR.
¿Opiniones al respecto o razones por las que no se configura el PTR?
