Hola Fernando,



He visto varios casos, pequeños y grandes fabricantes.



Si un chair te ha dicho que, si no ibas a la reunión, no avanzaría, se merece ser *expulsado* de IETF al menos como chair, que siga participando si quiere, pero ni eso es cierto ni se debe desalentar a nadie.



No eres el único que se paga de su bolsillo las reuniones, viajes y hoteles al IETF!

    Este tipo de regla no aplica a los mortales.

    

    Sin ir mas lejos, yo pague mi primer reunion de IETF de mi propio

    bolsillo porque, luego de insistir por mas de un año en un I-D, los

    chairs me dijeron que si no iba a la reunion, las cosas no iban a avanzar.

    

    Fui, dije lo mismo que habia dicho durante mas de un año en la lista de

    correo, y mi documento fue aceptado.

    

    A las pruebas me remito.
